Sedgefield and Newcastle account for most of the longest journeys in this dataset. Cork racecourse appears lower in the rankings, with Mollys Star (P E Collins, 252 miles) the nearest Cork entry, competing in a ladies' NH flat race at 17:35. Dollar Nolimit (E Buckley) and Speculateur (Gordon Elliott) both travel 185 miles to Cork.

Quality indicators

The data shows no obvious pattern linking travel distance to horse quality or race type within these figures.
